The Returnedfocuses on a small town that is turned upside down when several local people who have been long presumed dead suddenly reappear, having not aged and unaware of their own fatality. As they attempt to resume their lives, strange phenomena and gruesome murders begin to occur. The Returned takes an incredibly unique approach, filled with suspense and twists and turns, to the subject of the living dead.

Season 01 , Episode 2 – “Simon”
Simon attempts to approach Adele, but Thomas learns about his ‘return’.Camille is unable to fit back into her family. Her parents separated after her death, and now Claire is in a relationship with Pierre, an odd but charismatic figure who knew all along that the dead would return.

Season 01 , Episode 3 – “Julie”
Jack and Claire want to move in order for Camille to avoid a life of hiding, but in the meantime she pretends to be a cousin to get out of the house. Elsewhere, Lena discovers a mysterious scar on her back; and Victor has a run-in with a nosy neighbor.

Season 01 , Episode 4 – “Victor”
Camille is accused of hurting Lena, who is rushed to the hospital because of her scar; Rowan grows closer to Simon and discovers Tommy has an obsessive secret; Julie has reason to believe Victor was possibly involved in a horrific death.

Julie and Nikki come together to look for Victor after he disappears from the community center; Tony makes a confession that has a profound impact on Adam; and Helen suspects the town may be evil.

Someone unexpectedly shows up and puts Chloe in danger; Peter makes a startling announcement; and Helen sets her deadly plan for the town in motion.
