Based on the wildly popular comic book series “Hellblazer” from DC Comics, seasoned demon hunter and master of the occult John Constantine specializes in giving hell… hell. Armed with a ferocious knowledge of the dark arts and his wickedly naughty wit, he fights the good fight – or at least he did.

With his soul already damned to hell, he’s decided to leave his do-gooder life behind. But when demons target Liv, the daughter of one of Constantine’s oldest friends, he’s reluctantly thrust back into the fray – and he’ll do whatever it takes to save her. Before long, it’s revealed that Liv’s “second sight,” an ability to see the worlds behind our world and predict supernatural occurrences, is a threat to a mysterious new evil that’s rising in the shadows. And now it’s not just Liv who needs protection; the angels are starting to get worried too. So, together, Constantine and Liv must use her power and his skills to travel the country, find the demons that threaten our world – and send them back where they belong. After that, who knows… maybe there’s hope for him and his soul after all.

An ancient Welsh spirit torments a small mining town in Western Pennsylvania, where John makes a powerful new ally in a mysterious young woman named Zed.

Season 01, Episode 03 – ”The Devil’s Vinyl”
John and Zed find themselves in a dangerous confrontation with sinister forces as they try to save a family, who in desperation made a deal with the devil. Meanwhile, John confronts the darkness in his own life; and comes face-to-face with a new powerful adversary in Papa Midnite.

Season 01, Episode 04 – ”A Feast of Friends”
John must take into consideration what exactly he’s willing to sacrifice in his battle with the underworld after an old friend accidentally unleashes a powerful demon with a killer appetite in Atlanta.

Season 01, Episode 05 – ”Danse Vaudou”
Constantine’s unusual knowledge of a string of crimes gets him noticed in a bad way by a detective in New Orleans; at the same time, he forms an unholy alliance with Papa Midnite to deal with a deadly threat involving a voodoo ritual used to communicate with departed loved ones.

Season 01, Episode 06 – ”Rage of Caliban”
John is forced to put aside his misgivings about exorcising a child when a malevolent spirit takes hold of a young boy. But first, the kid’s parents need to be convinced that there is an evil presence controlling their son.

Season 01, Episode 07 – ”Blessed Are the Damned”
Zed’s bizarre vision of snakes leads her and John to a small town where a preacher has mysteriously gained the ability to perform miracles.

Season 01, Episode 08 – ”The Saint of Last Resorts: Part 2”
John and Chas find themselves closer to the source of the Rising Darkness after an old friend from the fateful Newcastle crew call on them for help dealing with an ancient evil that has surfaced in Mexico City. Meanwhile, Zed’s past comes back to haunt her.

Season 01, Episode 09 – ”The Saint of Last Resorts: Part 2”
Conclusion. John risks his life when, in order to fend off a vicious attack, he summons a demon into himself; at the same time, Chas, Zed and Anne Marie race against time to save their friend.

Season 01, Episode 10 – ”Quid Pro Quo”
Chas faces a parent’s worst nightmare when thousands of people across Brooklyn slip into a mysterious coma, including his own daughter; and it’s up to John to figure out how to awaken the victims of this evil force.

Season 01, Episode 11 – ”A Whole World Out There”
A group of Ivy University students test a disturbing theory in an experiment that goes horribly wrong when they find a way to an alternate dimension where they encounter a maniacal killer.

Season 01, Episode 12 – ”Angels and Ministers of Grace”
An unwitting Manny helps John investigate a mysterious attack in a hospital; at the same time, a health scare forces Zed to consider the source of her visions.

Season 01, Episode 13 – ”Waiting for the Man”
John and Zed return to New Orleans after Det. Jim Corrigan asks for their help finding a missing girl; at the same time, Papa Midnite plans his revenge; and the truth behind the Rising Darkness comes to light.
