There’s quite a big chance that you’ve never heard of this ‘Blue Edition’, because it is only available to equipment manufacturers and not to the general public.

This is the copy from the original disk, which is (as said before) only accessible to technicians of Microsoft. This version of Microsoft Office 2007 will never appear for sale, since this is the only version where there is no need for a serial. This version also doesn’t need an activation. The installer is very simple, undetailed and handy. The interface of application is completely changed, it is modernized and practically reminds in no way to the previous versions.In a few minutes the software will be installed on your computer, without any questions or other things that slow down the installation.

    Hi Maxdugan.

    This version must be about as good as it gets. I have often installed it, and never had any problems.

    I have had Version 2010 installed for some time on two PC`s, but this week I had strange problems with it, when altering tables. In the end I erased it and returned to the Blue Edition.

    But I have often wondered why MS made these two versions so complicated, like myself, friends have problems finding many functions, that are hidden away somewhere, almost everyone I know prefer version 2003!!

    So thanks for the Blue Edition, I can highly recommend it.

    Thank you Max! Links Ok, RAR extracted the ISO file Ok. I hope to get this working under Wine. One of those situations where it all came “pre-installed” and with re-doing the machine after some problems all was lost, and no media. And as you can guess, a switch was made to Linux at that point (no XP media either). OEM’s get away with it, why should the rest of the planet be any different?

    Hey, Max… quick question.. Can i install both 2007 and 2010 word at the same time on the same computer?

    My boss is using 2007 version of word and whenever I send him docs, he gets problems with spacing inside the document with jumbled words at that. So now I need to install a 2007 version for WORD, but i have the 2010 already. Is this possible?

    HI MyMaria, please do not install both versions on one computer, it will be messed up, what you can do is to open your Office Word 2010 program, on the upper left hand corner, click on the round office button, then click on the word options tab, click on the save tab, from here you will be given the choice to choose the format you wish to save your word files, change this to word document files 2003-2007 or doc files, now you can share your documents with your boss without any problem and vice versa, thank you very much
