This is one of the best fairy tale movie ever made… but its not the typical one that you see. This is stunningly dark and violent – not one for the children. The violence is graphic and the monsters are scary but it is probably one of the most gorgeous and personal films from a director for a long time!

This is the story about a young girl… and the fantasy world she created, to survive the harsh reality… This movie teaches us how children survive the real world, which they are not prepared for, and how adults forgotten this ability, disregard it as nothing, missing its “power”..
