Scenes of a Sexual Nature is a very intelligent film. It is skilfully crafted, beautifully shot and with superb acting. Only the most jaded and cynical could fail to appreciate this film… and is without a doubt one of the sweetest films made in a number of years.

Sex and love. Some seek it, some need it, some spurn it and some pay for it, but we’re all involved in it. Set on one afternoon on Hampstead Heath, London, the film investigates the minutiae of seven couples. What makes us tick? The British have done it again – successfully shown how talent, ensemble attitude, prudent production values, and esprit de corps can result in a first class thoughtful comedy of life. A first outing for writer Aschlin Ditta and director Ed Blum, this entertaining, intelligent and beautifully wrought film is a veritable showcase of some of Britain’s finest actors.

Get The Gringo (How I Spent My Summer Vacation) directed by Adrian Grunberg is one of the finest movies to come out in the mid-2012 and one of the best Mel Gibson movies. A career criminal (Mel Gibson) nabbed by Mexican authorities is placed in a tough prison where he learns to survive with the help of a 9-year-old boy (Kevin Hernandez).
There is only one word that comes close to accurately describing the enchanting Mary Poppins, and that term was coined by the movie itself: supercalifragilisticexpialidocious! Even at 2 hours and 20 minutes, Disney’s pioneering mixture of live action and animation still holds kids spellbound.

Julie Andrews won an Oscar as the world’s most magically idealized nanny (“practically perfect in every way,” and complete with lighter-than-air umbrella), and Dick Van Dyke is her clownishly charming beau, Bert the chimney sweep. The songs are also terrific, ranging from bright and cheery (“A Spoonful of Sugar”) to dark and cheery (the Oscar-winning “Chim-Chim Cheree”) to touchingly melancholy (“Feed the Birds”). Many consider Mary Poppins to be the crowning achievement of Walt Disney’s career–and it was the only one of his features to be nominated for a best picture Academy Award until Beauty and the Beast in 1991.

Lewis is a brilliant inventor who meets mysterious stranger named Wilbur Robinson, whisking Lewis away in a time machine and together they team up to track down Bowler Hat Guy in a showdown that ends with an unexpected twist of fate.

Throughout history, tales of chivalry have burnished the legends of brave, handsome knights who rescue fair damsels, slay dragons and conquer evil. Danny McBride and James Franco team up for an epic comedy adventure set in a fantastical world-Your Highness. Rowan Atkinson returns to the role of the accidental secret agent who doesn’t know fear or danger in the comedy spy-thriller Johnny English Reborn. In his latest adventure, the most unlikely intelligence officer in Her Majesty’s Secret Service must stop a group of international assassins before they eliminate a world leader and cause global chaos. A sexually and racially charged film noir from Oscar-nominated director Lee Daniels (Precious), The Paperboy takes audiences deep into the backwaters of steamy 1960s South Florida, as investigative reporter Ward Jansen (Matthew McConaughey) and his partner Yardley Acheman (David Oyelowo) chase a sensational, career-making story. With the help of Ward’s younger brother Jack (Zac Efron) and sultry death-row groupie Charlotte Bless (Nicole Kidman), the pair tries to prove violent swamp-dweller Hillary Van Wetter (John Cusack) was framed for the murder of a corrupt local sheriff. Based on the provocative bestselling novel by Pete Dexter (Mulholland Falls, Rush), The Paperboy peels back a sleepy small town’s decades-old façade of Southern gentility to reveal a quagmire of evil as dark as a Florida bayou.
A must-see. They got it right! This quiet film is gonna scare the wits out of you! Right off the bat, the biggest question seems to be, “will this movie scare me?” And the answer is a resounding yes…but not in the clichéd ways of gore and guts. No sir, this flick is all about the slow burn. It earns all of its jumps and each one of its heebee jeebees subtly. Be sure to see this film. If you miss it, you’ll regret it!
