From the director of Mad Cowgirl comes a new study in obsession and madness. Katarina (Silvia Suvadova, Kolya) is a music teacher intent on completing and uncovering the mystery behind an unfinished symphony. She worries about her brother, Ondrej (Jesse Hlubik), an introverted electronics inventor who finds himself falling in love with the mysterious student who lives downstairs. His work is also being financed by reputedly shady and dangerous people. One day, Katarina’s ex-husband Pietro (Nick Mancuso) shows up in her house and locks her in a cage.
Disheartened attorney Mike Flaherty (Giamatti), who moonlights as a high school wrestling coach, stumbles across a star athlete through some questionable business dealings while trying to support his family.
