Since Stranger Things, a nostalgic sci-fi series created by twins Matt and Ross Duffer, launched on Netflix it has become nothing short of a phenomenon impacting the worlds of music, literature, fashion, gaming and beyond. The show scratches a particular itch for any kid who grew up steeped in VHS culture. But to be the juggernaut that Stranger Things has become, it has stretched well beyond a simple ’80s reference machine.
