From Allen Hughes, Dear Mama dives into the personal relationship of mother and son, Afeni and Tupac Shakur, a revolutionary and one of the most influential artists of all time. Afeni Shakur was a revolutionary, an intellect and a voice for the people. She became a feminist darling of the ’70s, a female leader in the movement amidst the macho milieu of the Black Panther Party. Tupac was a rapper and poet, a political visionary and philosopher who became known as one of the greatest rap artists of all time. In addition to becoming a global sex symbol and media favorite for his outspoken and sometimes outrageous antics, he would eventually become the poster child for modern Black activism. Their story chronicles the possibilities and contradictions of the United States from a time of revolutionary fervor to Hip Hop culture’s most ostentatious decade.

Set in London, “Scopia” follows ordinary white-collar office worker, Basia (played by Polish actress, Joanna Ignaczewska), who after suffering mild depression undergoes hypnotic regression with specialist Dr Edward Stanton. No sooner do these treatments start (somewhat unorthodox in nature) that Basia’s flashbacks caused during regression appear to be not only of a troubled childhood but also of troubled past lives. As these “memories” gush forth, the vivid and warm memories of her young mother’s kindness subside and start to give way to dark forces that seek to disrupt and destroy her. As Basia struggles to hold these dark forces from breaking through into her present, she increasingly struggles to retain her sanity and the ability to fight back. There is a way out but it is hardest path to take, shaking her humanity to the very core.

Inspired by somewhat true events, “Get Big” follows the misadventures of two friends as they reconnect to attend a high school classmate’s wedding. Alec is the charming troublemaker, while Nate provides the neurotic and awkward foil to his friend’s unpredictable antics. “Get Big” takes place over the course of a crazy 24-hour period during which Alec and Nate cross paths with oddball cops, curmudgeonly neighbors, drug dealers, psychopaths, escorts and pretty girls, all while the clock ticks down their classmate’s big moment.

When the Nie family of Qinghe faces a crisis, Mingjue and his younger brother Huaisang join hands to surpass every obstacle. However, the brothers are constantly at odds with Mingjue accusing Huaisang of being cowardly, and Huaisang complaining Mingjue arrogant and cruel.
