The different aspects of life in Pompeii, a coastal luxury resort near Naples catering for the very rich of imperial Rome, mainly before but culminating in the eruption of the Vesuvian volcano, which wipes it from the face of the Earth. The residents of Pompeii include Diomed, a common upstart merchant whose self-made riches from trade allow him to consider running for political office against sitting city magistrate Quintus and an impoverished aristocratic marriage for his daughter Julia; the cultivated Greek Glaucus; the gladiator Lydon; the noble-born Antonius and his sister Ione, the evil Isis-priest Arbaces who is after (their) money and power; the persecution-fearing Christian slaves Petrus, his true love Chloe, and their secret leader Olinthus.

The story of a young flirty feral woman named Kitty who is trained by a martial arts specialist to become a professional assassin. She’s subsequently recruited by the real killer, a hit woman who targets rapists at large and practices on drooling sex-mad psychos chained up in the attic. When they finally head out for the real thing, they take out victims in a display of midair somersaults, cracking whips, flying ropes, and flashing guns. This kind of foreplay attracts the lustful attentions of rival assassin Carrie Ng, a lesbian killer ready to abandon her purring sex kitten for the savage Chingmy.
Christine Dawson is a new, young and attractive high school teacher. Mrs. Dawson wants to help all of her students succeed including Josh Gaines, a troubled student from a dysfunctional family. Mrs. Dawson’s concern is misinterpreted by Josh and he fantasizes that she is sexually attracted to him. Eventually, Josh acts on this fantasy and attacks Christine. When Christine reports this, the tables are turned when Josh accuses Christine of coming on to him. His friends, sidekick Tao, warrior Arina and later trickster, spirit guide and mentor Dartanus, who’s the only one who knows what really happened to Dar’s family, as well as Dar’s deep conviction to fight for what’s right and his unique ability to befriend and communicate with animals help Dar in his quests to defeat an evil Sorceress and a wicked wizard known as the Ancient One, as well as stop the evil god Balcifer and his minion and Dar’s archnemesis, King Zad.
When her lover is killed, the wife of a wealthy man is convinced to fake her own death, which leads her into greater depths of depravity until fate reunites her with her long-lost son, who is unaware of her real identity.
