Visionaries Knights of the Magical Light was a 13 episode series that is full of action, magic, mystery, science, in the future age of the post apocalypse caused by the sun wiping out all technology. People form tribes of good and evil and return to an age of magic. A wizard much like Merlin of mythology guides both sides through this time of struggle.
The story takes place in the world of Remnant, which is filled with supernatural forces and shadowy creatures known as the Grimm. Prior to the events of the series, mankind waged a battle of survival against the Grimm before discovering the power of a mysterious element called Dust, which allowed them to fight back against the monsters. In the present day, Dust is used to power magical abilities and weapons. Those who use these abilities to battle the Grimm are known as Huntsmen and Huntresses. The series focuses on four girls, each with her own unique weapon and powers. Together, they form a team at Beacon Academy in the city of Vale, where they are trained to become Huntresses.

This series is about the Turkish warrior Ertugrul from the 13th century, one of the most famous warriors of his time and also the father of Osman (the founder of the Ottoman Empire). He is an ambitious man who wants to bring peace and justice to his people. He is in a war with the Crusaders on one side, the Byzantines on another side and the brutally expanding Mongols who killed a lot of Turks on another side. In between this he is in a psychological war between his love and his so called destiny.

Kagemusha is, probably, the best example of cinematic overkill where nobody actually cares. Cinematic overkill is when someone constructs a complex multi-layered movie, stage epic-battles, introduce likeable and complex characters without having a very complicated message. The message of “Kagemusha” is simply this: If you pretend long enough to be something else you’ll become it. Too simple, maybe, for what’s delivered.
