Four grandmothers accidentally kill a con man. When his partner shows up, things go south quickly.
Utterly offbeat and quirky, Bill Forsyth’s funny and often touching film stars Christine Lahti as an eccentric aunt who comes out to the Pacific Northwest to live with her orphaned nieces. They soon discover she’s no ordinary mom with her rich fantasy life and cluttered house filled knee-keep with newspapers and tin cans.
