Arrietty is a 2010 Japanese animated fantasy film produced by Japanese animation house Studio Ghibli, based on the fantasy novel The Borrowers by Mary Norton, with the script written by Hayao Miyazaki – Ghibli founder. 14-year-old Arrietty and the rest of the Clock family live in peaceful anonymity as they make their own home from items “borrowed” from the house’s human inhabitants.
