Some people’s expectations might be just a bit high in regards to this film but is it really a stretch to say that you might need to understand that a movie called SEX SPA is mostly filled with sexy, gorgeous naked women and … yes, having sex … in a spa setting – what else were you expecting?

The Sex Spa has Chloe playing Det. Emma Ridgeway. The story has a deranged killer who has murdered a prominent woman (Monique Alexander) who frequented the services of a spa. So, Ridgeway and her partner Daniel Stewart (Dale DaBone) investigate the spa and its seamy, steamy underbelly. The story is actually pretty good and has depth, not unlike the usual whodunits and Kobe-style marital affairs.

Some people have bad days. Henry Altmann (Williams) has one every day. Faced with Henry’s anger and insults, Sharon abruptly tells him he has only 90 minutes. Shocked and reeling by this news, Henry storms out of the office leaving Sharon stunned by what she has just done in a lapse of judgment. As Sharon goes on a city-wide search, Henry struggles with his diagnosis, determined to make amends with everyone he has hurt in his life.

A rare insight into the world of high-class call girls – looks at why, in a society of equal opportunities, many women are making a conscious decision to sell their bodies at a premium rate. The documentary also features interviews with men who use high-class prostitutes and the web designer who helps some girls advertise themselves.

Call Girl is set in the late 1970s – a time time of women’s liberation, sexual revolution, Swedish neutrality, nuclear power and social security. The film takes us on a trip from the very bottom of society, along dark back streets, through glitz and glamour, to the corridors of power which are a labyrinth of secrets. The story is inspired by a Swedish political scandal known as Bordellhärvan which linked underage prostitution with powerful customers believed to come from the highest levels of society.
