This movie is AWESOME! It’s dark, gritty, action-packed fantasy horror movie that doesn’t distract itself from the great story. Shot in the tradition of The Crow, Highlander and Sin City, it has an artsy, comic book appeal. The twisted apocalyptic world that the characters inhabit grips you into this strong and mystical morality tale.

Gabriel is a dark action spectacle that takes place in the realm of Purgatory. It reveals the struggle between Arc and Fallen angels for control over the city and its population of re-born souls. At present, darkness rules and Gabriel, the last of seven Arcs sent to return light, must assume a human form for the first time. In the darkest places of the human soul, this lone arc angel’s battle with his human feelings and emotions will prove as perilous as facing the Fallen. Purgatory’s dangerous and seedy underworld will reveal the human condition as frail and strong, as corruptible and honorable but always undeniably powerful and precious. It takes a bone chilling look into the state of humanity and the twistings of the human mind. Blending religion, sociology, and fantasy this movie takes the cake!

Incredible, awe-inspiring, intense, and one of the most beautiful pieces of film I have ever seen. Danny Boyle’s Sunshine imagines a disturbing future in which mankind must re-ignite the sun or face total extinction.

50 years into the future, the Sun begins to die, and Earth is dying as a result. A team of astronauts are sent to revive the Sun – but the mission fails. Seven years later, a new team are sent to finish the mission as they are Earth’s last hope.

Newly engaged comic Iliza Shlesinger dives into undeniable truths about life at age 35, the insanity of the road traveled and what’s to come.

The world’s longest continually running police drama! Meet detectives Burke, Ross, Reid, and Fraser–a team of Glasgow cops as hard as the criminals they chase and as gritty as the city they call home. Matthew Burke (Alex Norton, Patriot Games) is their leader, a chief inspector who has seen it all before and fully expects to see it all again. Robbie Ross (John Michie, To Walk with Lions) often finds himself on the receiving end of Burke’s sarcasm, though the hardworking Jackie Reid (Blythe Duff) and fresh-faced Stuart Fraser (Colin McCredie) do not escape either. Together, the formidable foursome takes on everything that the mean streets of Glasgow throw its way.

Agent Frank Black (Lance Henriksen) is a former FBI agent who has transplanted his family from Washington, D.C. to Seattle, after suffering something of a breakdown. He’s an expert criminal profiler–arguably the best, thanks to his ability to “see” into the minds of killers – and he fears for the safety of his wife and young daughter. In Seattle, he joins the mysterious Millennium Group, an agency of freelance crime-busters who investigate particularly brutal crimes. As a result, Millennium is downright bleak viewing, as Black jumps from horrific slaying to horrific slaying. Moreover, there’s a growing sense of unease about the workings of the Millennium Group, so that in typical Chris Carter fashion, you don’t know who to trust. With its pre-Y2K angst and overwhelming darkness, as well as its general humorlessness, Millennium hasn’t dated as well as The X-Files. Still, thanks to Carter’s vision and Henriksen’s compelling take on the tortured Black, it’s difficult not to get hooked.

PROBABLY THE BEST AND MOST SPECTACULAR BATTLEFIELD ACTION EVER FILMED! This epic movie is simply an amazing masterpiece! Director John Woo’s Red Cliff boasts some mighty impressive numbers. It took four screenwriters to adapt the 800,000-word source material, a 14th-century Chinese novel called Romance of the Three Kingdoms. There are also three editors, two directors of photography, hundreds of horses, and a combined cast and crew numbering in the thousands, making it reportedly the most expensive movie ever made in China.

RED CLIFF is the epic historical drama based on a legendary 208 A.D. battle that heralded the end of the Han Dynasty. A power-hungry Prime Minister-turned-General Cao Cao seeks permission from the Han Dynasty Emperor to organize a southward-bound mission designed to crush the two troublesome warlords who stand in his way, Liu Bei and Sun Quan. Vastly outnumbered by Cao Cao’s brutal, fast-approaching army, the warlords band together to mount a heroic campaign – unrivaled in history – that changes the face of China forever.
