Royal Rumble (2019) was a professional wrestling pay-per-view event and streamed on WWE Network produced by WWE for their Raw, SmackDown, and 205 Live brands. It took place on January 27, 2019, at Chase Field in Phoenix, Arizona.[4] It was the thirty-second event promoted under the Royal Rumble chronology. As is tradition, the winner of the men’s and women’s Royal Rumble matches earned a world championship match at WrestleMania 35. The men had their choice of either Raw’s Universal Championship or SmackDown’s WWE Championship, while the women could choose either the Raw Women’s Championship or SmackDown Women’s Championship.
