Tell Me a Story takes the world’s most beloved fairy tales and reimagines them as a dark and twisted psychological thriller. Set in modern-day New York City, the second season of this serialized drama interweaves ‘Beauty and the Beast’, ‘Sleeping Beauty’, and ‘Cinderella.’ It showcases in detail the various struggles of the protagonist, such as spending sleepless nights in the woods and going great lengths to impress his lady love, until he ponders over a dark secret that turns his life around.
Timothy Spall stars in this three-part drama that revolves around the phenomena known as The Enfield Poltergeist. In August 1977, paranormal investigator Maurice Grosse (Spall) is called to a council house in Enfield, North London, after a supernatural entity makes contact with the terrified Hodgson family.
