
Shark Week is an annual, week-long TV programming block created by Tom Golden at the Discovery Channel, which features shark-based programming. Shark Week originally premiered on July 17, 1988.

“Bull Shark Dinner Bell” is a Shark Week special following shark attack survivor Paul de Gelder and predator specialist Rosie Moore as they investigate rising bull shark aggression in Jupiter, Florida. They test environmental triggers and human behavior to reveal what incites attacks before an explosive final demonstration.

House of Sharks is a 2026 Shark Week special following rival groups of great white sharks battling for dominance in New Zealand’s waters. Experts investigate generational feeding habits and reveal surprising family connections.
Season 2026, Episode 06– “Invasion of the Mega Sharks”
The Shark Week 2026 special Biggest Mako on Earth follows marine biologist Tristan Guttridge, conservationist Kendyl Berna, and shark tagger Keith Poe as they investigate rumors of massive, 15-foot mako sharks off the coast of Mexico and Southern California, challenging conventional science on how large the species can grow.
