Jeremy, a patriarch of a young family with teenage children, loses his job and decides to move to the backwoods of Georgia to help his crazy grandfather. Grandpa Vinny has foolishly purchased a terribly run-down home for the elderly and he is in way over his head, but comedy ensues as Mr. Brown and Cora show up at the right time as needy investors.

Mr. Brown and Anastasia argue that hypnosis isn’t real until Mr. Brown is under and becomes his idol, Kung Fu Soul Brotha.

Philip begins dating a wealthy girl at school and arrives home in a Tesla; Leah and Jeremy demand he break it off until they begin receiving gifts that are hard to turn down.

The men learn how inferior Father’s Day is to Mother’s Day after they go all out for Mother’s Day but the women don’t do the same for Father’s Day. Mr. Brown convinces Jeremy to take command in his relationship.

When Reginald is put in charge of Cora’s precious family heirloom bible and gives it away to charity, he’s got to figure out how to replace ot before Cora discovers it missing.
