Based on the upcoming graphic novel by Nate & Megan Trinrud and Maria Nguyen, School Spirits focuses on Maddie Nears, a teen stuck in the afterlife who decides to investigate her mysterious disappearance alongside a group of other students who are also stuck in limbo at their high school. Maddie goes on a crime-solving journey as she adjusts to high school in the afterlife, but the closer she gets to uncovering the truth, the more secrets and lies she discovers.

Season 1, Episode 01 – “My So-Called Death”
While acclimating to purgatory at Split River High, Maddie becomes determined to solve the mystery of her disappearance. While observing those she left behind, Maddie begins to realize everyone is not as honest and loyal as she once thought.

Season 1, Episode 02 – “The Fault In Our Scars”
As she grows close to the spirits in the ghost world, a driven Maddie begins to unravel the events surrounding her death, only to discover someone other than Xavier may have been involved.

Season 1, Episode 03 – “Dead and Confused”
With an unexpected suspect possibly involved in her death, Maddie’s forced to reveal more about the depth of that relationship – leading to unexpected consequences.

Season 1, Episode 04 – “Ghoul Intentions”
When the search for Maddie’s killer puts Simon in real jeopardy and exposes Maddie’s connection to the living world, Maddie must navigate Split River High’s spooky spectral underbelly – first alone, and then with the help of her fellow ghosts.

Season 1, Episode 05 – “The Twilight End Zone”
As Homecoming unfolds at Split River, Maddie finds herself divided between accepting her fate in purgatory and a newly hatched plan to crack a new suspect.

Season 1, Episode 06 – “Grave the Last Dance”
Maddie is a teen girl stuck in the afterlife investigating her own mysterious disappearance; she goes on a crime-solving journey as she adjusts to school in the afterlife, but the closer she gets to the truth, the more secrets and lies she discovers.

Season 1, Episode 07 – “Séance Anything”
Hoping to recount her last living moments, Maddie and her fellow spirits hold an anti-séance which brings to light a shocking new theory.

Season 1, Episode 08 – “Madison’s Body”
Maddie finally pieces together the puzzle of her disappearance which has severe consequences in both the spirit and living worlds.
