Party Down follows a group of Hollywood dreamers – struggling actors and writers – stuck working as caterers while waiting for their big show business break.

The gang gets hired to work a laid-back radio promotion luau in Malibu, Calif.; things get weird as they decide to take mushrooms together.

Season 3, Episode 05 – “Once Upon a Time Proms Away Prom-otional Event”
Lydia, worried that daughter Escapade missed her childhood, plans a “prom” promotional event for her new movie. Meanwhile, Ron schemes to impress a studio PR bigwig who could make or break Party Down.
