A&E Network and WWE Studios are giving fans an exclusive look behind the curtain in an all-new Sunday night programming partnership. With unprecedented access to WWE’s archive, the ten-week programming block features eight original two-hour documentaries under the award-winning “Biography” banner showcasing the stories behind some of the most memorable WWE Superstars of all time.

Season 3, Episode 01 – “nWo”
Hulk Hogan joins Scott Hall and Kevin Nash to form a group of villains called the New World Order, which becomes the most influential faction in the history of sports entertainment and has fans cheering for the bad guys.

Season 3, Episode 02 – “Jake The Snake Roberts”
Showcases the life and legacy of WWE icon Jake Roberts. Through a variety of interviews, photos and archival footage, viewers get a behind-the-scenes look at the unforgettable legendary superstar both in and out of the ring.

Season 3, Episode 03 – “Chyna”
Known as the “Ninth Wonder of the World”, Joanie Lee Laurer transcended all traditional boundaries of what a female could accomplish in Sports Entertainment. As a child, Joanie had dreams of being someone special. As Chyna, Joanie took the WWE by storm. From day one, Chyna was unique. Debuting as a bodyguard for the men who made up the legendary faction “Degeneration X” she made an immediate and lasting impact on the industry. She remains the only women in history to ever win the highly coveted WWE Intercontinental Championship. Her fame transcended sports entertainment but led her down a path of addiction and tragedy that ended her life too soon.

Season 3, Episode 04 – “Kane”
The Big Red Machine known as Kane was an indestructible monster that terrorized the WWE from the moment of his legendary debut at Hell in a Cell. Portrayed as the sadistic evil brother of the legendary Undertaker–Kane struck fear throughout the WWE Universe for decades. The man who portrays this beastly leviathan in actuality is Glenn Jacobs, a soft-spoken husband and father of two daughters who turned in his wrestling tights to become mayor of Knoxville County in Tennessee. In WWE, the Kane / Undertaker rivalry is considered to be the best story ever told in WWE history–in real life, the story of the man Glenn Jacobs is a stark contrast to the monster he embodied for so many years.

Season 3, Episode 05 – “Jerry Lawler”
Jerry The King Lawler is a once-in-a-lifetime Superstar whose career spanned generations; as he celebrates the 50th anniversary of his first match, Lawler looks back at his unlikely journey to the top of sports entertainment.

Season 3, Episode 06 – “Paige”
Following the incredible journey of WWE’s original Anti-Diva Paige, from her humble beginnings in Norwich, England to becoming a catalyst for the WWE Women’s Revolution.

Season 3, Episode 07
Charlotte Flair is currently one of WWE’s biggest superstars; she is in the midst of creating an unmatched legacy in women’s wrestling history, but it hasn’t been easy with the added pressure of being the daughter of The Nature Boy Ric Flair.

Season 3, Episode 08
Rodney Anoa’i was a high school dropout who needed direction and purpose; after exploding onto the scene in 1992, the 500 pound giant became “Yokozuna” and quickly skyrocketed to WWE superstardom.

Season 3, Episode 09 – “Dusty Rhodes”
Growing-up in East Austin, Texas–Virgil Riley Runnels, Jr. always had an outsized vision of the possibilities for himself. An innate ability to navigate loss and create opportunity set him on a path to discovering- or actually becoming–The American Dream. As the most relatable and charismatic wrestler of all-time, he earned titles and the adoration of a diverse fan base. His iconic rivalry and promos with Ric Flair set the path for an entire industry and as a booker/producer he created many of the wrestling events still happening today including War Games, Starrcade and The Great American Bash. For Dusty, the traditional trade-offs of fame over family were never acceptable and for the first time-ever, Dusty Rhodes’ four children collaborate to tell the story of their father. It’s their story that suggests Dusty’s most significant accomplishment had nothing to do with wrestling.

Season 3, Episode 10 – “The Iron Sheik”
The “Iron Sheik” is one of the most iconic villains in WWE history–but the arduous journey of the man, Hossein Khosrow Vaziri has never been told. This one-time bodyguard for the Shah of Iran, escaped his country in fear for his life. Without the ability to speak any English at all, he somehow transformed himself into one of the most hated and beloved characters of all time. As the “Iron Sheik” he represented the ultimate threat but Khosrow was living the American Dream along with his beautiful wife and daughters. But, despite the fame and fortune, struggles with addiction and family tragedy all played a part of his incredible story.
