Tough As Nails is a competition series that celebrates everyday Americans who roll up their sleeves and don’t think twice about working long hard hours and getting their hands dirty, in order to keep their country running. Competitors who consider the calluses on their hands a badge of honor will be tested for their strength, endurance, life skills and, most importantly, mental toughness in challenges that take place at real-world job sites.

Season 01, Episode 01 – “REDEFINING TOUGHNESS; GET THE JOB DONE”
Meet the 12 TOUGH AS NAILS challengers competing on the new reality series that celebrates everyday Americans who get their hands dirty while working long, hard hours to keep the country running. The cast includes a welder, firefighter, farmer, roofer and a Marine Corps veteran, among others.

Season 01, Episode 02 – “Get the Job Done”
The competitors work to complete the missing part of a railroad track; they “punch in” for their initial individual test; and the last two standing face off in a railroad overtime challenge.

Season 01, Episode 03 – “HEAVY METAL”
The crew competes in a series of challenges at a junk yard where they must take apart a car and retrieve auto parts. Next, the last two standing need all the strength they can spare in an overtime challenge removing tires from the rims

Season 01, Episode 04 – “RELEASE THE BULL!”
Tensions run high during the team challenge when one crew has issues with communication while building a large fence on a farm.

Season 01, Episode 05 – “MIND OVER MATTER”
Teams Savage Crew and Dirty Hands as they compete to fill and seal giant bags of sand. Then, another crew member’s time in the individual competition will run out when the bottom two compete in an overtime challenge to fill a huge hourglass with sand.

Season 1, Episode 06 – “Game of Telephone”
Teams are challenged mentally and physically when tasked with pushing 24 heavy barrels up a hill and arranging them in a specific order at an oil field; one crew member must conquer a fear of heights to climb a telephone pole.

Season 1, Episode 07 – “Trash Day”
Teams compete in a “pack a moving van” challenge that requires speed and efficiency. In the elimination round, individual contestants rely on their strength and stamina to perform the challenge of collecting and loading trash into a moving garbage truck.

Season 1, Episode 08 – “TRUST YOUR GEAR”
Competitors take on a series of “five alarm” challenges at a firefighter training facility, where they must clear a 60-foot-long section of brush, save a victim from a simulated disaster zone and extinguish a fire before repelling down from the top of a four-story building.

Season 1, Episode 09 – “Cut It Up”
Teams “Savage Crew” and “Dirty Hands” compete in the final competition to win the overall team prize.

Season 1, Episode 10 – “Finish the Job”
In the season finale, the final five competitors battle to be crowned champion of Tough as Nails and win the $200,000 prize! Plus, the finalists get a much-needed boost when their loved ones cheer them on.
