Brockmire is a famed major league baseball announcer who suffers an embarrassing and very public meltdown live on the air after discovering his beloved wife’s serial infidelity. A decade later, Jim Brockmire decides to reclaim his career and love life in a small American rust belt town that has seen better days, calling minor league baseball games for the Morristown Frackers. The struggling team is led by Jules, the strong-willed, hard-drinking owner and Charles, the naïve but enthusiastic team intern.

Season 4, Episode 01 – “Favorable Matchup”
Jim Brockmire, a once-famed baseball announcer suffers an embarrassing on-air meltdown caused by his wife’s infidelity, leading to a decade away from the booth. Older and wiser, Brockmire attempts to reclaim his career by returning behind the mic.

Season 4, Episode 02 – “Three Year Contract”
The struggling team is led by Jules, the strong-willed, hard-drinking owner and Charles, the naïve but enthusiastic team intern.

Season 4, Episode 03 – “Low and Away”
Baseball is barely holding on so Jim turns to the one person he knows can turn it around, Jules James; however, it’s going to take a lot of convincing to get her to leave Morristown to help a sport and man who both turned their backs on her.

Season 4, Episode 04 – “Comeback Player of the Year”
Jim and Jules agree to keep their relationship professional, but when they team up to trick the owners into selling the teams to new owners who will let them make the changes they want, their antics remind them of the relationship they used to have.

Season 4, Episode 05 – “Double Header”
Jules tries to win Beth’s approval of the relationship she and Brockmire are trying to rekindle, but they don’t get along until Jules takes Beth under her wing as a drinking buddy; Jim is irate that Jules was a bad influence on his daughter.

Season 4, Episode 06 – “The Hall”
Beth finds out that Jim lied to her for her entire life about her birth mother.

Season 4, Episode 07 – “Union Negotiations”
A potential strike threatens the future of baseball altogether.

Season 4, Episode 08 – “The Long Offseason”
Artificial intelligence threatens to take steps in its pursuit to rule the world and attempts to take over baseball. Jim and Jules must decide if they want to embolden this emerging society ruled by machines or stay with the failing status quo.
