Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy features themes of redemption and the importance of friendships and family told through a series of riveting sequential story arcs. The series follows the newly-formed team who finds a strange artifact keyed only to the DNA of Peter Quill. Upon opening it, Quill unleashes a treasure map leading to a powerful weapon known as the Cosmic Seed which is capable of giving birth to the next universe. It’s up to the Guardians to find, protect and ultimately destroy the Cosmic Seed in order to keep it out of the hands of those who would abuse its power, from galactic big boss Thanos, to the conniving brothers the Collector and the Grandmaster, to a resurrected Ronan, to the ultimate trickster, Loki, in order to save the universe.

After the Guardians collect their huge bounty for the capture of Thanos, the group splits up and we follow the separate adventures of Drax who seeks to use his fortune to find a new title to replace “The Destroyer”.

Season 3, Episode 9 – “Fame”
Quill starts his own talk show after beating Thanos; to his dismay, everyone seems to hate it, especially the Grandmaster who is rigging the segments to destroy Quill.

Season 3, Episode 10 – “Happy Together”
The Guardians, desperate after squandering their riches almost instantly, take what they believe to be a simple transport job. What they don’t know is that they are stealing a mysterious item from the Kree.

Season 3, Episode 11 – “Gotta Get Outta this Place”
The Guardians find themselves in prison for stealing a mysterious “package” from the Kree.

Season 3, Episode 12 – “Mission Break Out: Long Distance Runaround”
The Guardians track down Howard the Duck to find out who set them up and why, but they don’t get far before Phyla the Accuser catches up to them to deliver some Kree justice.

The Guardians don’t know who to trust as the Darkhawks seem to have duplicated everyone, including Quill.

The Guardians finally make it out of the Black Vortex, only to find that the galaxy has been taken over by sinister robots called the Darkhawks, who are disguised as their friends.
