Set in the late 1980s, school is out for the summer and a sun-drenched season of firsts beckons the counselors at Camp Clearwater, a seemingly idyllic Midwestern summer camp, including first loves, first kisses – and first kills. Clearwater’s dark, ancient mythology awakens, and what was supposed to be a summer of fun soon turns into one of unforgettable scares and evil at every turn. Part coming-of-age story, part supernatural horror story, “Dead of Summer” is a bold, new series that mixes genres as it examines the light and dark of a summer like no other.

Season 01, Episode 01 – “Like A Prayer”
Deb Carpenter gets the summer camp she loved as a child ready to reopen. A new counselor called Amy believes that something is not quite right at the idyllic Camp Stillwater.

Season 01, Episode 02 – “Barney Rubble Eyes”
The campers arrive to Camp Stillwater and quickly Alex and Blotter realize one of their new charges, Anton, is going to be a handful. With the tendency to wander off into the woods talking to himself, Alex and Blotter think the shy kid just has an imaginary friend. But when Anton starts talking about “the Tall Man” and communicating cryptic messages to them, they begin to wonder what lurks in the woods around Stillwater. Meanwhile, flashbacks show how Alex got his “if you want something in life, you have to take it” attitude.

Season 01, Episode 03 – “Mix Tape”
The counselors go into town for the night, while Blair and Joel stay back at camp with the kids. In town, Cricket flirts with Damon to incite jealousy in Alex, but Damon pushes the envelope, and he and Alex get into a physical altercation.

Season 01, Episode 04 – “Modern Love”
A masquerade ball is planned by Deb, and Damon’s gang use this event to sneak into the camp. Meanwhile, Amy, Alex and Cricket seek Deputy Sykes’ assistance in investigating Deb after they discuss the strange occurrences the around camp.

Season 01, Episode 05 – “How to Stay Alive in the Woods”
Deb and the counselors take the kids into the woods for an overnight camping trip. Meanwhile, Joel grows uneasy about the strange occurrences at Camp Stillwater.

Season 01, Episode 06 – “The Dharma Bums”
The counselors turn to drastic measures in hopes of uncovering the truth behind the dark events occurring at Camp Stillwater. Meanwhile, Deputy Sykes receives a tip; and Deb’s past is recalled.

Season 01, Episode 07 – “Townie”
Dep. Sykes hatches a plan to stop the attacks after gaining intel about Camp Stillwater. Meanwhile, Dep. Sykes past is recalled.

Season 01, Episode 08 – “The Devil Inside”
The remaining counselors are divided, as some contend they haven’t yet solved the mystery of Camp Stillwater. Meanwhile, flashbacks feature Jessie’s past.

Season 01, Episode 09 – “Home Sweet Home”
The counselors confront the evil of Camp Stillwater and perform an exorcism.

Season 01, Episode 10 – “She Talks to Angels”
In the first-season finale, the remaining counselors fight to survive as the summer comes to an end at Camp Stillwater.
