“Preacher” follows Reverend Jesse Custer, a small-town Texas minister on the verge of losing his faith when he merges with a spiritual force called Genesis — making him more mighty than the Almighty. Able to command the obedience of those who hear his words and joined by his gun-toting girlfriend Tulip and the hard-drinking Irish vampire Cassidy, Custer begins a violent journey across the country in search of answers from a disenfranchised God.

Jesse explores his newfound power with Cassidy’s help. Meanwhile, armed with new information, Tulip tries to convince Jesse to set out for revenge

Season 01, Episode 04 – “Monster Swamp”
Jesse makes Quincannon a bet he can’t refuse; and Cassidy works to fend off the angels. Meanwhile, Tulip tries to bring justice to Annville.

Season 01, Episode 05 – “South Will Rise Again”
After his stunt with Quincannon, Jesse is Annville’s newest rock star; and Tulip and Cassidy connect. Meanwhile, the Cowboy makes a tragic decision.

Season 01, Episode 06 – “Sundowner”
Jesse finally comes face to face with Deblanc and Fiore and learns about the mysterious entity that has taken over his body.

Season 01, Episode 07 – “He Gone”
Jesse’s actions alienate and endanger those closest to him, as a glimpse into his past reveals the root of all of his guilt.

Season 01, Episode 08 – “El Valero”
In a fierce gun battle, Jesse faces off against Quincannon and the Meat Men to protect his church. Meanwhile, Tulip tries to save a friend.

Season 01, Episode 09 – “Finish the Song”
Jesse is on the run, while those around him face life-altering decisions. Meanwhile, the Cowboy returns to Ratwater to exact his revenge.

Season 01, Episode 10 – “Call and Response”
In the first-season finale, it’s the day the entire town has been waiting for, as Jesse tries to follow through on his promise to get answers from Heaven.
