Based on the internationally best-selling novel by Gregory David Roberts, “Shantaram” follows a fugitive named Lin Ford (Charlie Hunnam) looking to get lost in vibrant and chaotic 1980s Bombay. Alone in an unfamiliar city, Lin struggles to avoid the trouble he’s running from in this new place. After falling for an enigmatic and intriguing woman named Karla, Lin must choose between freedom or love and the complications that come with it.

Karla nurses a deliriously sick Lin back to health, complicating things between them even more. Lin seeks Khader’s help, much to Qasim Ali’s disdain.

Prabhu looks forward to a future with Parvati. Pandey’s love for Sunita is tested. Kavita, Raheem, and Nightingale close in on Lin.

Season 1, Episode 10 –“Dig Two Graves”
Lin’s past catches up with him when Nightingale arrives. Later, Lin makes a shocking discovery. Karla offers Kavita information for the article.

Season 1, Episode 11 –“Banquet of Consequences”
Zhou initiates war. Khader tries to stop Kavita’s article from printing. Maurizio seeks revenge. Lin says his goodbyes.

Season 1, Episode 12 –“All the Way From There Just to Get to Here”
Season finale. Kavita’s article goes to print, causing an all-out battle. Lin seizes an opportunity to escape.
