STEP-BY-STEP TUTORIAL FOR “CLEAN INSTALLATIONS”
Install:
- Download and extract using WinRAR.
- Use NERO to burn the ISO image called “faXcooL.Windows.7.Ultimate.ENG.x86-x64.ACTiVATED”
- Burning speed should not be faster than 4x. Otherwise, it might not work.
- Restart your computer.
- Make sure you’ve seleceted your DVD-ROM/RW drive as a first boot device
* Enter the BIOS pressing the DEL button, set the option, insert your Windows 7 installation and restart computer.
- The black screen will appear (image 01).
- Press any key to boot from CD or DVD…. (by pressing the key you’re entering the setup)
- Select your language, time and currency and keyboard input (optionaly)
- Click install now
- Choose your edition (x86 is 32-bit, x64 is 64-bit) depending of CPU type you have.
*Choose x64 if you have 64-bit processor.
- Click “I accept”.
- Click “Custom (advanced).
- Choose your partition/hdd drive where Win7 should be installed and click format.
*You might get some error if you have two or more hard disks with different connectors (ATA and SATA).
If you get an error, turn off one of your hard disks and repeat the whole proces.
- After formatting, setup will continue automaticly and it will finish after 15-30 min.
- Next step would be username (Image 17).
- Type your password (if you want).
- When you get the screen for CD-KEY just ignore it leaving blank.
*Uncheck the box for automaticly activation and click next.
- Choose the third option for next step.
- Select your time zone.
- Select your current location (Home is recommended).
- The black CMD windows will appear. Wait a few seconds until computers restares once again.
- And that would be all about installation. You’re in Windows now.

I managed to install at last, but the 32 bit, I wonted the 64 bit. Anyway If works and it is very cool. However it is not activated, I had to use windows 7 loader to activate. THANKS SLEDGE.

I and a fr of mine installed it. I cud not get the videos run (nVIDIA N6200TC driver error, possibly) and the fr of mine became a victim of software counterfeiting, WGA error.
All the activators available have failed.

Thanks for the great post sledge. I have downloaded all the parts from “hotfile”. I burned the image file on a DVD too. I have faced NO problems so far while downloading, extracting or burning the ISO file.
I plan to do a clean install, and migrate from Windows Vista. Please let me if software in Windows Vista can be used in Windows 7. Are there any compatibility issues?? Also please advise on the hardware requirements for Windows 7.

Much 10x! It’s works;-) the only question is when I check for seeing the version status (START—>right clik+COMPUTER–>PROPERTIES) it shows the following: 29 DAYS TO ACTIVATE. ACTIVATE WINDOWS NOW.
PRODUCT ID: 000426-OEM- [etc...]
Anyway, when I complete the installation of this one, the cmd.exe windows show me a string that said that the version is Activated successfully.
Is normal? does it happen also to other uesers? many 10x in advance. Have a nice week-end.

hapen is the sistem will shutdown and then you have to call microsoft an they
will ask you for you serial number if you have that they will give you a number so you can reuse your pc again and onemore thing the gona getinto your pc to chek if you have a original windows I hope this help

Thanks for your comment but what you say is not necessarilly true.
I have been running an RC version of Win 7 for over 6 months courtesy of a download such as this and using a supplied activator. No problems whatsoever and all MS updates available.
RU speaking from experience or just guessing?

The RC never needed an activation patch and will work until around the end of March 2010. After that date it will stop working and you’ll need to install a final version.
