Hiren’s Boot CD is a boot CD containing various diagnostic programs such as partitioning agents, system performance benchmarks, disk cloning and imaging tools, data recovery tools, MBR tools, BIOS tools, and many others for fixing various computer problems. It is a Bootable CD; thus, it can be useful even if the primary operating system cannot be booted. Hiren’s Boot CD has an extensive list of software. Utilities with similar functionality on the CD are grouped together and seem redundant; however, they present choices through UI’s differences and options in what they can do.

I used this on a laptop and when it reun it says that it is version 10.0 and i do not see the antivirus programs. Also, when i go to http://www.hiren.info/pages/bootcd the version listed is 10.1. Is this post mislabeled?

Hi subzero, insert the CD and reboot your laptop, it will show you a menu, choose hard disk partitioning tools, and then acronis disk director suite, choose to wipe and and format the partition, thank you very much

Good day Max!! my pc wont boot…i have deleted the boot file on c:…i have downloaded this hirens and would burn it on a cd..Im guessing that i would have to go to multiboot sysytem..(F12) and set my pc to boot from my cd drive..and then insert this hirens cd and restart my pc..will that do?…can you tell me how to boot from the burned hirens cd?..pls reply..tnx!!!

Hi shawnchambers16, kindly enter your bios by pressing the delete key while rebooting, then one of the options is to boot from your hard disk or cd, please make sure to have the cd as first boot priority, thank you very much
