JDownloader is a platform independent and written completely in Java. It simplifies downloading files from One-Click-Hosters like Rapidshare.com, Hotfile.com or Megaupload.com – not only for users with a premium account but also for users who don’t pay. It offers downloading in multiple paralell streams, captcha recognition, automatical file extraction and much more.

Additionally, many “link encryption” sites are supported – so you just paste the “encrypted” links and JD does the rest. JDownloader can import CCF, RSDF and the new DLC files.

When running the software, you will be prompted to update, please click yes to enable all new functions.

   Thanks Max. 1 problem for me! On Hotfile links my Jdownloader reports all the links as 100% offline and, of course does not download them, on checking the links I find they are all online and working. I just wondered if you had come across this problem? Only Hotfile, all other link sites work perfectly. Strange!!

    Hi Vidic, after installation, kindly update the program, it will ran automatically on the background and you can see an icon on the system tray, when you click on the download links, jdownloader picks this up and you can click on the link to start downloading, thank you

    Hi Rick Brux, kindly update the software and the links will come out good again, the reason for this is because hotfile links end with “html”, hence it is presumed offline But try downloading the link and it may become online, thank you very much

    Hey maxdugan, i’m having the same trouble as Rick Brux that is the hotfile. i have already updated mine to 0.6.193 and somehow my option to right click> jDownloader>download links… doesn’t work at all!!! each time i click download links nothing happens, i check the jdownloader link grabber page and still empty. how do i resolve the hotfile problem and the option to download link problem?     To all of you cannot download hotfile maybe your firewall block your hotfile. Sometimes when you download many files from hotfile using Jdownloader they would shut you down I experienced it.

    kktt_chemist, if you say that’s the problem then how do i resolve it? also it only happens in jdownloader but if i were to access hotfile manually then it’s not a problem….

    It cant be my firewall because i can download all rapidshare links with no problem. Only Hotfiles which i have an account with always say “unknownfilename.file -”offline>file not found”

    Funny thing is that i was able to download hotfile links all last week till friday. This is really frustrating me. Anyone know any other good download manager?

    Hey, stuntdoogie it’s the same with me… all this problem only started showing last friday too… i’m sure jdownloader is good but only a few technical problems currently… does anyone have the solution on hotfiles?

    Thanks for the answer, but I tried all the updates and checked firewall. Did not make a difference. I now use Orbit (Free), a little tweak on the hotfile site and no problems downlads long lists and anything. So if JDown is giving you probs try Orbit.

    For people who care and want to try it out, Im using “Download them all” addon plugin for firefox and it works just ask good exept that i doent extract the rar files automatically like jdownloader does but its a good addon.

    Dear Rick Brux, Orbit does not do what I expect. It downloads the displayed html page, i.e. the hotfile webpage, not the file I want to download. Or maybe I am not using Orbit properly

    Is Orbit really able to “click” on “REGULAR DOWNLOAD”, wait for 30 seconds and then save the displayed link as a file on your PC ?

    my jdownloader cant download anyfiles too.. havent tried using rapidshare links but hotfile links shows online. but when i press download it will give me waiting time.. after waiting time no download.. it only repeats its waiting time..
