The 2014 WWE Battleground pay-per-view event was packed to the brim with talent as many Superstars were in the hunt for championship gold.

John Cena was set to defend the WWE World Heavyweight Championship in a Fatal 4-Way match featuring not only two members of The Authority, but also a wrestler with a lot of momentum behind him: Roman Reigns. With the Intercontinental Championship up for grabs in a Battle Royal on Sunday night, a laundry list of potential winners could have made a name for themselves here. Between these two title matches, several other belts possibly changing hands and the possibility that bouts such as Seth Rollins vs. Dean Ambrose could steal the show, who in fact stood out?
