When one’s fate seems boxed in by the rigors of living, the urge to liberate the self is at its utmost. At the center of this besieged universe is Joyce Jimenez who plays the central character in the film, Isya. At the helm of this celluloid sex-drama in acclaimed writer-director Jose Javier Reyes. Into Isya’s world we are ushered, hence. Hoping to come out of it redeemed. Free at last from the clutches of the everyday demons hounding Isya’s seemingly indeterminable angsts.
