INSTRUCTIONS:
Uninstall any previous version completely or the activation will not work.
1. Burn or mount, install with AUTOPLAY (important).
2. After installation choose ACTIVATE OVER INTERNET
3. After activation, CLOSE Office
4. Start office
5. Check the Help/ About Tab for Activation status
If AutoPlay did not occur, install by running BAT.EXE.

Thank you. I downloaded and installed it and everything seems to be working. So what’s the trick? Every other release seems to need some kind of activator?
Installed quickly without need to crack, everything works great.
Worked perfectly, obviously doesn’t make a difference if you run x64 or x32, but this is just to answer some posts on this thread -
I installed it without problem on x64 windows 7 ultimate.
UPDATE FOR THOSE WHO CANNOT ACTIVATE ONLINE:
MAK are all used up! New instructions for permanent activation while waiting for the MAK key to be refilled:
When MAK online activations are all used up, activate Office through phone until the MAK is refilled.
INSTRUCTION FOR PHONE ACTIVATION:
1. Select “Activate by Telephone” when the Microsoft Office Activation Wizard starts.
2. In the Activation Wizard, select the country/ region where you reside and then the appropriate TOLL FREE telephone number will be displayed.
3. Write down the Installation ID which is generated when you choose to activate through the automated telephone system.
4. Use the phone number provided on your Activation Wizard screen to call the Microsoft Activation Center.
5. Now a pre-recorded voice (NO actual human being…) will guide you through the activation process.
6. After your Installation ID is verified, you will receive a Confirmation ID.
7. In the Activation Wizard, type the Confirmation ID in the spaces provided at the bottom of the screen, and then press Continue.
8. Done! You’ve successfully activated your copy of Office Professional Plus 2010!

ACTUAL COMMENT FROM ZOLCO:
I used telephone/ toll free 1-866-432-3012 via MagicJack and voila, machine did not know my installation code, sent me to a live agent whom I got the Confirmation code, clicked Next and I was validated until the next “crash or re-format”…LOL, they belived it!
You can also use Skype to Call 1-866-432-3012

Activation by telephone works- make sure you enter the code correctly on the phone, and select option 1, then 1 again! And last of all, BE PATIENT! It takes about 3 mins on the phone to go through the whole process!
If you are not successful in picking the options (for example you picked 2 instead of 1 after you entered the code), try again the next day, 24 hours later, I did that and it worked!

Okay, so I did exactly what you said, uninstalled all content revolved around all previous versions of Office, rebooted, installed Office 2010 again, and the same thing happened.

I just finished installing this copy on a fresh install of a legit Win 7 install.
Activation over internet failed so I called the 866 number and after entering all the numbers it said “wait while I verify” and then failed. I hung up when it said it was transferring me to a live person.

Hi NoGood, you need to talk to the representative, thats the way to activate it, please dont be hesitant, be firm and you will get the activation, they will only ask you 2 questions, thank you very much

i just called to activate office. The automated voice asks you to input the product ID but it wasnt able to Activate it so it transferred me to a representative.
The representative gave me the code to activate it NO QUESTIONS ASKED!!!

Max, when activated through phone, for how many days will it stay activated?
I believe when the activator is used, it will only activate the product for 180 days and after that you need to reactivate it again…

hi max, can you help me out? nothing works 4 me. tried to activate through phone, but entering the id didnt work, transfered to an support representative, she said right away that i was calling from singapore, though im from the philippines, then when she asked me why do i need the confrimation ID, i said that i formatted my HD, asked for my id, and then asked me if the office was pre-installed/came with the bought PC or installed from a CD/DVD, i said pre-installed and then asked me if it is for personal or company use, i said company. she then said that she wont be able to give me the confirmation ID unless i send a picture/image of the product key because the ID was activated 50,000 times already. *sigh* now can you tell what should i say if ever i try it again? you said that there would only be 2 questions. >..< please help. i badly want to activate office 2010. tnx

Hi everyone !!!! Nice read the experience of you all. I am writing this post again because my problem remains unsolved. Hi everybody !!! Looks every thing is fine here. But I have a problem: Recently I installed MS Office Professional Plus 2010 32 bit on my windows XP service pack 3. Every thing ended well. During activation I opted for Telephone Activation. That also ended well. The Message I got on activation was: “Thank you ! Your Product has been successfully activated”. Now when I open any program of office 2010 it says Error: “Microsoft office professional plus 2010 cannot verify the license for this product. You should repair the office program by using control panel”. I might have tried all tricks to activate this but failed. I dont want KMS activation. Any new means of activation except KMS..For me buying a key is rulled out…Please suggest…. I hope somebody will ready this and suggest.!!!!!!!!

Max I follow all your instructions, I used Your Uninstaller, the activation over the internet is not working, it says: Your installation cannot be activated because you have activated up to the llimit of your mulitiple activation key, Consult your administrator for further help.

I tried the product today. It took forever to download, and now I can’t activate it. I took the option to activate via phone. I contacted Microsoft (after blocking my caller id), entered the numbers like we’re supposed to, then I’m told the license cannot be activated and transfers me to a customer service rep. I wasn’t ready to talk to them yet, so I needabother way to do this. KSM did not work well on my last machine so I would like to avoid it this time. Any suggestions?

After installing and following the directions, I didn’t want to activate by phone for obvious reasons. But after using the EZ-Activator (which stated Office 2010 was fully activated), I went to the help menu in Office 2010 and it said that the product wasn’t activated, although I was no longer prompted to activate the product upon opening it anymore. So is that how the EZ-Activator works? If not, is it too late to try to call the customer service to activate it by phone?

Pardon me for ignorance. after installing could not activate thru internet its promting me “A communication error has occurred. Please verify that you have connectivity to the internet and try again. (0x80072F8F)” Though im connected to the internet. Same for the toolkit this message appear after clicking Office 2010 Toolkit ” The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000135). Click ok to terminate the application.” I try to redownload again but still the same. Also tried phone activation but with the voice automated only, the activation ID was invalid I was transfered to a live tech support in which I hang up for obvious reasons. Please help advise… thank you very much..

I tried this one on my previous PC about 2 months ago.
It went very well. I got to talk with Microsoft Sale Gal and she is very friendly.
She said she’s sorry for my lost and give me the new ID and Activated!
But now my laptop really spoiled again. I need to replace my harddrive and reinstall everything AGAIN.
So I wonder will it be ok to call them again and ask for the new ID again?

Hi Paula, yes Microsoft Outlook is included, but not Outlook Express, what you can do is to use the toolkit to backup your license and activation just in case, then you can reinstall again, thank you very much

Im very sorry U4ia, i think you were able to automatically update KB71033, you can reactivate your license by calling using skype or phone, kindly read the instructions above or read some of the comments about this, you can also download and use the toolkit, the link is indicated above – http://www.filesonic.com/file/1277394911/OfficeToolkit.215.rar to activate, please take note that this toolkit will extend the program for 180 days of which you should use the toolkit again to extend, i would recommend calling as the best option, hope this can help you in any small way, thank you very much

LOL U4ia, am not terrific in any way, what you can do is to update microsoft windows “manually”, you will see KB971033, check this and make it hidden and not to bother you with this update anymore, then you can change back to automatic update again, thank you very much

Regarding MS Office 2010 or the Blue Edition 2007, when I read all the posts on this site regarding the complications involved when installing this version MS Office 2010, I just wonder why bother?
I have been using the Blue Edition for a very long time on three PC`s with no problems whatsoever. I have used version 2010 and found no advantages for my use!
When I read the 171 letters already written, my question still remains why? Is it just to have the newest version?

I also tried opening MS Word and other things like Excel and Access and its all perfect. No need for internet or phone activation, or even the office toolkit which I also downloaded. Online activation did not work so I called the toll free number using Skype. Initially it asked me to key info in and it didn’t work so it offered to transfer me to an operative.
I was a bit scared to be honest – they did not ask me where I was from or if I was a home user or business user. I just explained my HD needed to be reformatted and that it was a Volume License/OEM.
I just read the info out off screen and they gave me the activation code – so so easy!!!!
