In other developments, Scott’s secret past is no longer a secret; and Zoe and Malik’s flirtation turns into something more.

James tries to give a teenage leukemia patient a Christmas miracle and, in the process, is inspired to be a better version of himself. A tech guru disappoints James, who connects a cluster of respiratory cases to environmental contamination caused by a microchip factory owned by this man he idolizes.
