RUSH HOUR, a reimagining of the hit feature film franchise, is a buddy-cop drama about a maverick LAPD detective and a by-the-book detective from Hong Kong who knock heads when they are forced to partner together.

Detective Lee is a reserved, honorable master martial artist with lightning-fast moves who comes to L.A. to avenge his sister’s alleged death and learn more about her connection to a Chinese organized crime ring. Detective Carter, on the other hand, is a wisecracking cop who plays by his own rules. As exasperated as Carter’s boss, Captain Cole, gets with him, she knows he’s a brilliant detective who gets results. Attempting to help the two get along is Sergeant “Didi” Diaz, Carter’s friend and former partner who doesn’t hesitate to call him out on his antics. Secretly aiding them as an informant is Carter’s cousin, Gerald, a low-level offender who runs with a tough crowd. Even as cultures clash and tempers flare, Carter and Lee can’t deny they make a formidable team, and grudgingly admit that sometimes an unlikely pairing makes for a great partnership.

Carter and Lee search for a young graffiti artist who witnessed the murder of an LAPD detective, and is the link to the suspect, an infamous criminal.

Season 1, Episode 4 – “LA Real Estate Boom”
Two people, seemingly unconnected, are victims of similar bomb attacks, sending Carter and Lee scrambling to identify the killer before he strikes again.

Season 1, Episode 5 – “Assault on Precinct 7”
Lee’s sister puts her life on the line when she tips him to the Quantou gang’s trafficking of women into Los Angeles, which sends Lee off on his own to dig up inside information about the gang.

Season 1, Episode 6 – “Welcome Back, Carter”
Carter and Lee go undercover as administrators at a prestigious high school to investigate the murder of a student, who they learn was involved in flushing out a drug ring on the campus.

Season 1, Episode 7 – “Badass Cop”
Carter and Lee suspect an armored-truck robbery may have been a practice run for a bigger theft, but debate over who may be the perpetrators.

Season 1, Episode 8 – “Wind Beneath My Wingman”
Carter is smitten with an attractive witness he and Lee are protecting from assassination by her ruthless former employer.

Season 1, Episode 9 – “Prisoner of Love”
Detectives Carter and Lee hunt an escaped prisoner searching for his estranged wife and daughter who are in witness protection. When the pair goes missing, the Detectives must find how their location was compromised.

Season 1, Episode 10 – “Knock, Knock… House Creeping!”
Captain Cole enlists the help of Detectives Carter and Lee when a young woman’s disappearance from a hotel believed to be haunted echos a series of chilling unsolved cases from five years ago..

Season 1, Episode 11 – “O Hostage! My Hostage!”
Carter and Lee discover that a hostage situation at a concert hall is more than a robbery gone wrong.

Season 1, Episode 12 – “The Dark Knight”
When seemingly upstanding members of society are being publicly humiliated by a mystery man, Detectives Carter and Lee search for someone targeting powerful people with something to hide.

Season 1, Episode 13 – “Familee Ties”
In the series finale, Carter and Lee attempt to infiltrate a meeting of rival Los Angeles gang leaders and hope to find Lee’s sister who is becoming more involved with the criminals.
