Frank Grillo stars in this gritty family series as former pro fighter Alvey Kulina, who, along with his girlfriend Lisa (Kiele Sanchez), runs a Mixed Martial Arts gym in Venice, California. Tensions mount with Alvey’s addict ex-wife Christina (Joanna Going) in the mix and when Lisa’s ex-fiancé Ryan (Matt Lauria) returns from prison to resurrect his fighting career – with Alvey as his trainer. And although Alvey and Christina’s sons Jay (Jonathan Tucker) and Nate (Nick Jonas) show promise as fighters, each contends with demons and secrets of his own. With its hard-hitting action and great storyline, Kingdom is rock-solid entertainment!

The “Kingdom” cast is led by Frank Grillo, who returns to the ring to play Alvey “King” Kulina. Kiele Sanchez plays Lisa Prince, his long-time girlfriend. Matt Lauria plays Ryan Revis, the intelligent, good looking world-class athlete who had it all, including Lisa Prince, who shows up at Alvey’s gym after doing time in prison, which was precipitated by a spiraling drug addiction. Jonathan Tucker plays Jay, Alvey’s eldest son, once a promising fighter, who is struggling with addiction. Nick Jonas plays Nate, Alvey’s youngest son and the prized fighter at the gym. Joanna Going plays Christina, Alvey’s estranged wife and mother to Jay and Nate.
