Second Chance is an American science fiction crime drama television series created by Rand Ravich. It is inspired by the novel Frankenstein by Mary Shelley. A thrilling new action-drama about a man brought back to life by two scientists playing god in the quest to save one of their own lives.

Season 01, Episode 01 – “Pilot”
The series follows the life of Jimmy Pritchard, a 75-year-old former Los Angeles County sheriff who was morally corrupt and later disgraced and forced to retire. After he is killed in a robbery at his son’s home, Pritchard is brought back to life in the improved body of a younger man by billionaire tech-genius twins Mary and Otto Goodwin. However, despite having a new life and a chance to relive his life and find a new purpose, the temptations that led to his career being tarnished continue to haunt him.

Season 01, Episode 02 – “One More Notch”
Two killers are on the loose thanks to the power surge that brought Pritchard back to life and helped them escape from prison, but the former sheriff is determined to find them and save the city he still believes is his to protect. Meanwhile, Pritchard tries to gain Duval’s trust by telling him they’re half brothers.

Season 01, Episode 03 – “From Darkness, the Sun”
Pritchard tries to prove to Duval that he was a better police officer and man than his son ever knew. Meanwhile, he and Duval go up against a deadly psycho and another father-son duo that is out to cause trouble.

Season 01, Episode 04 – “Admissions”
A series of murders involving young prodigies may be linked to an unsolved case and forces Duval to reconsider Pritchard’s real identity. Meanwhile, Pritchard’s relationship with the FBI takes on new significance.

Season 01, Episode 05 – “Scratch That Glitch”
Mary’s death is predicted by a game of chance to fall on the same day as a Lookinglass product launch. Meanwhile, Pritchard is hospitalized after a brutal fight; and Otto discovers imperfections that could have dire consequences for Pritchard and Mary.

Season 01, Episode 06 – “Palimpsest”
A killer is on the loose who maims and mangles his victims beyond recognition. Meanwhile, Otto becomes jealous of the developing bond between Pritchard and Mary and wants to look for a new donor.

Season 01, Episode 07 – “That Time in the Car”
Duval’s sister Helen is dating Wally, a parole officer, whom she’s known since high school, but Pritchard must hide the fact that he never liked him, and his opinion doesn’t improve when he and Duval learn he’s linked with a possible prison break. Meanwhile, Alexa shares her distrust of Pritchard with Mary; and Otto recalls his parents’ death.

Season 01, Episode 08 – “May Old Acquaintance Be Forgot”
A 20-year-old cover-up of a murder comes back to haunt Pritchard when the informant he tried to protect is now a powerful drug dealer. Meanwhile, Mary has survived her current health scare but she and Otto disagree on what to do about Pritchard; and Gracie is attracted to an older guy.

Season 01, Episode 09 – “When You Have to Go There, They Have to Take You In”
Pritchard and Duval team up to chase a serial killer. Meanwhile, Mary and Pritchard’s bond grows stronger, but Otto wants to make sure she’ll always be by his side; and Gracie tries to get to the bottom of Pritchard’s identity.

Season 01, Episode 10 – “Geworfenheit”
Albert Lin’s real identity and who created him present a dilemma for Pritchard and Duval, who also frantically search for Gracie after she goes missing. Meanwhile, Otto’s relationship with Mary is strained by the investigation, and he mulls the risk of destroying everything they’ve built, including Pritchard, by siding with Connor Graff.

Season 01, Episode 11 – “Geworfenheit”
In the Season 1 finale, Gracie’s life is in danger unless Pritchard and Duval can reach her in time and rescue her from Connor and Otto’s experiment. Meanwhile, Mary and Alexa search for a way to save Pritchard since he can no longer regenerate in the tank; and Otto struggles to come to grips with his decisions that have touched so many lives.
