‘Limitless’, based on the feature film, is a fast-paced drama about Brian Finch, who discovers the brain-boosting power of the mysterious drug NZT and is coerced by the FBI into using his extraordinary cognitive abilities to solve complex cases for them.

Season 01, Episode 01 – “Pilot”
A man named Brian Finch develops superhuman abilities after taking a mysterious drug called NZT in the series premiere of this adaptation of the 2011 film starring Bradley Cooper, who serves as executive producer and reprises his role as Eddie Mora. First up: Brian attempts to clear his name of an NZT-related murder being investigated by the FBI.

Season 01, Episode 02 – “Badge! Gun!”
Brian risks his new FBI job when he disobeys orders to stay out of the investigation into a renowned journalist’s murder

Season 01, Episode 03 – “The Legend of Marcos Ramos”
When Brian helps Agents Harris and Boyle investigate the murder of a retired FBI agent, they’re shocked to find a link to the elusive head of a notorious drug cartel. Also, Brian reconnects with an old flame, Shauna, but worries her renewed interest is really in the NZT version of him.

Season 01, Episode 04 – “Page 44”
Brian’s loyalty to the FBI is tested when Sands, Senator Edward Morra’s representative, demands he steal the FBI’s secret files on NZT. Also, Agent Harris is emotionally conflicted when she learns what her estranged father left her following his death.

Season 01, Episode 05 – “Personality Crisis”
Brian learns a shocking secret about Rebecca’s late father but worries that telling her will land him in legal trouble. Also, Brian accidentally meddles in Rebecca’s personal life while learning self-defense from her secret boyfriend, FBI Agent Casey Rooks.

Season 01, Episode 06 – “Side Effects May Include…”
When Brian begins to experience the side effects of NZT again, Senator Morra demands he betray Rebecca in exchange for another inoculation. Also, Brian secretly looks for an alternate cure for himself while he works with Rebecca outside FBI parameters to find the creators of NZT.

Season 01, Episode 07 – “Brian Finch’s Black Op”
When Brian calls in sick for a day off from the FBI, the CIA abducts him from home to borrow his NZT-enhanced capabilities for a black ops mission. As the operation becomes increasingly dangerous, Brian finds himself without FBI support in a situation that’s spiraling out of control.

Season 01, Episode 08 – “When Pirates Pirate Pirates”
When Naz is detained on suspicion of funding terrorism, Brian and Rebecca’s efforts to clear her name lead them to Naz’s daughter, Ava, who reveals a family secret Naz is keeping from the FBI.

Season 01, Episode 09 – “Headquarters!”
Brian offers to use NZT to capture the FBI’s “Ten Most Wanted” criminals in two weeks, in exchange for Naz giving him his own personal work “headquarters” at the agency. Also, the secretive nature of Brian’s new life working for the Bureau creates a rift between him and his father.

Season 01, Episode 10 – “Arm-ageddon”
When Boyle’s former military buddy is accused of murder and blames it on the loss of control of his prosthetic arm, Boyle asks Brian to help determine if the artificial limb was hacked. Also, Brian’s father demands he stop working for the FBI.

Season 01, Episode 11 – “This Is Your Brian on Drugs”
An internal investigation is launched after Casey Rooks and his SWAT team are caught stealing NZT pills from a stolen batch they helped recover.

Season 01, Episode 12 – “The Assassination of Eddie Morra”
Senator Edward Morra is targeted by a would-be assassin, and Brian is ordered to sabotage the FBI’s investigation into the murder attempt in order to prevent exposing the senator’s connection to NZT.

Season 01, Episode 13 – “Stop Me Before I Hug Again”
Brian embarks on his first FBI field assignment when he travels to Quantico to lend his skills to the bureau unit that catches serial killers. Meanwhile, Rebecca comes closer to discovering Senator Morra’s connection to NZT.

Season 01, Episode 14 – “Fundamentals of Naked Portraiture”
A developer at a tech think tank frequented by Brian is murdered. To find clues to the killer’s identity, Brian and Rebecca interview a robotic version of the victim, which she created before her death. Meanwhile, agents apply to join Mike and Ike as Brian’s third bodyguard.

Season 01, Episode 15 – “Undercover!”
Sparks fly between Brian and an undercover FBI agent as they race to finish a case before her real identity is exposed. Meanwhile, Sands makes a surprising move to end Rebecca’s investigation into Senator Morra.

Season 01, Episode 16 – “Sands, Agent of Morra”
Brian is covertly enlisted by Senator Morra’s henchman Sands, who finds that his dangerous past has caught up with him and he needs Brian’s help dealing with a life-or-death threat. Meanwhile, it’s up to Rachel to cover for her brother when the FBI comes calling about another case.

Season 01, Episode 17 – “Close Encounters”
Brian and Rebecca are placed under quarantine together after they are exposed to an unknown substance during an investigation into a citywide blackout. Already feeling too close for comfort, trust issues arise when Brian is caught using his stash of NZT.

Season 01, Episode 18 – “Bezgranichnyy”
With his closest relationships imploding, Brian goes rogue from the FBI and heads to Russia to find the only person who can help him cut ties once and for all with Senator Eddie Morra. As he tracks down a former Morra associate-turned-adversary who possesses an alternative NZT vaccine, Rebecca comes closer to discovering Brian’s secret.

Season 01, Episode 19 – “A Dog’s Breakfast”
Brian’s double life unravels when Senator Morra makes contact just as Brian’s placed under 24-hour surveillance by the FBI following his rogue trip to Russia. Also, Mike and Ike tell an already suspicious Rebecca about Brian’s off-book interaction with Morra’s henchman, Sands.

Season 01, Episode 20 – “Hi, My Name Is Rebecca Harris …”
When Rebecca learns the truth about her father’s death, she takes NZT for the first time and uses it to seek justice for his murder. Also, Sands makes a dangerous move against Brian to ensure the success of his new initiative.

Season 01, Episode 21 – “Finale: Part One!”
The FBI’s worst nightmare comes true when NZT floods the streets of New York City and threatens to become a national epidemic. As efforts are made to stop it from spreading, a joint manhunt is launched to find the lab producing the drug; at the same time, Brian struggles to adjust to his new reality when he lacks the resources to continue searching for Piper.

Season 01, Episode 22 – “Finale: Part Two!!”
Season 1 concludes with Brian dealing with a stunning betrayal as he and the FBI race to stop an NZT-enabled Sands and his associates from orchestrating an international incident of evil. Meanwhile, Brian also experiences devastating side effects when his NZT immunity begins to wear off.
