Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll, which has no connection to Eric Bogosian’s play of the same name, is centered on Johnny Rock (Denis Leary) who, as the magnificently talented lead singer of New York’s legendary early 90′s band The Heathens, was on his way to the cover of Rolling Stone magazine. His best friend Flash was being called the next number one lead guitar player on planet earth. The critics loved them. Their live shows were selling out. But Johnny had a problem with booze. And coke. And weed. And pills. And cough medicine. And oh yeah – he slept with Flash’s wife. And his bass player’s fiancée. The band broke up the same day their first and only record was released.

Season 01, Episode 01 — “Don’t Wanna Die Anonymous”
An Afghan Whigs reunion inspires Johnny to see if he can get the band back together in the premiere of this comedy about an aging and broke bad-boy rocker from the 1990s who gets another shot at fame 25 years later as a songwriter for a brash and talented young singer who’s a big fan of his earlier work.

Gigi and her bandmates challenge Johnny to write songs without drugs or alcohol.

Season 01, Episode 03 — “Lust for Life”
Johnny dies on the Internet, and decides to stay that way when it makes financial sense, but it also leads to a big break for Gigi.

Season 01, Episode 04 — “What You Like Is in the Limo”
Gigi’s a hit in New York City, which leads to the revelation that the Heathens are still popular in Belgium.

Season 01, Episode 05 — “Doctor Doctor”
Gigi is adamant that the whole band visit a renowned music therapist.

Season 01, Episode 06 — “Tattoo You”
Johnny mulls getting a tattoo of Gigi’s name when she tests his commitment to being her father.

Season 01, Episode 07 — “Supercalifragilisticjuliefriggingandrews”
Gigi meets Johnny’s mother and finds out how “Mary Poppins” wrecked her showbiz career as well as Johnny’s childhood.

Season 01, Episode 08 — “Hard Out Here for a Pimp”
Gigi meets Johnny’s mother and finds out how “Mary Poppins” wrecked her showbiz career as well as Johnny’s childhood.

Season 01, Episode 09 — “Take My Picture by the Pool”
Gigi gets a huge record deal; Bam and Rehab quit the band to become uber-hip EDM DJs.

Season 01, Episode 10 — “Because We’re Legion”
Greg Dulli sets Gigi up with a well-respected producer from the west coast, which Johnny loves because Flash doesn’t.
