The Kama Sutra is the world’s oldest known book concerning the pleasures of sensual life. It has been a work in progress for thousands of years and therefore it can be contributed to no one single author for its creation. It was initially compiled in the third century by Indian sage Vatsyayana, who resided in northern part of India. Vatsyayana it was said was a celibate monk, however this work of compiling all the existing knowledge of sexual relations was for him a type of meditation and contemplation of his maker’s greatest gift.
